Welcome to the Ember to Blaze Ministries Where is the blaze? Where is the blaze in your church? The blaze in your ministry? The blaze in your leadership? The blaze in your heart? What is the one ingredient that propels Christian leaders and Christian ministries? Passion! Jeremiah had this passion, “But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones.” (Jeremiah 20:9) Peter and John had this same passion when threatened by the Jewish Council to no longer witness in the name of Jesus. “But Peter and John answered and said unto them, ‘Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.’” (Acts 4:19-20) They had a burning passion!
God places His burning ember within each believer at salvation. Nehemiah exposed his ember when he spoke of “what my God had put in my heart to do.” (Nehemiah 2:12) We are to take that ember, fan it, and turn it into a blaze!
