Ember to Blaze Ministries was birthed in response to requests by pastors, church staff, and lay leaders in the areas of Sunday School, leadership, and evangelism.  Allan Taylor is Minister of Education at First Baptist Church Woodstock, Georgia where he has served since February, 1995. Under his leadership, the Sunday School attendance has grown from 2,500 to 5,800. Previously, he served at Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN and London Bridge Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA. Before surrendering to full-time Christian service, he was a high school football coach. Allan is the founder of Ember to Blaze Ministries and writes Sunday School, leadership, and training materials. He has authored three books: "Sunday School in HD", "The Six Core Values of Sunday School" and "Disciplining and Restoring the Fallen" as well as a new DVD series, "Sunday School Done Right!" He conducts numerous training seminars nationally and internationally, mentors, instructs, and encourages Christian Educators and lay leaders. In 2009, First Baptist Woodstock held Sunday School in HD, a national Sunday School Conference where over 1,400 church staff and lay people from 23 states across the country were trained. The 2011 Sunday School in HD Conference will offer two locations: Woodstock, GA and Dallas, TX. Allan and his wife, Linda, have three children and three grandchildren. Testimonials
